UD students and employees can download Office using the Microsoft Office 365 Portal, App Store (Apple iOS devices), or Google Play Store (Android Phones). Students may continue to use Office as long as they remain enrolled in classes at the University, and employees may use the software as long as they are employed at the University. With A3 licensing, fully matriculated students as well as most employees can download Microsoft Office at no charge. The resulting page will show which license you have been assigned.
After logging in, in the upper-right corner, click your icon or photo. The following steps will help you identify which license you are currently assigned. If you are unsure of your assigned license you can check by following the instructions below. These groups are determined by your currently active status in the HR or Registrar systems. These are generalized groupings and may not be comprehensive of every situation. To inquire about these options submit a request. Other licensing: other licensing options are available for a fee. Please read each license carefully to understand what products you will have access to under these new licenses. This new structure means new and different access to Office 365 applications for a variety of users at UD. As of February 1, the University of Delaware’s licensing structure for the Microsoft Office 365 for Education program has changed.
